From February 15 to March 8, 2019, thirteen students from the University of Tsukuba and seven students from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies participated in a Russian language training course conducted at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) in Kazakhstan.
This program has been held every year since 2015. However, it is the first time for students from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies to participate in this Russian language training course. Apart from the language course, other activities such as sightseeing tours, lectures in Kazakh traditional cultures, homestays, among others, were also organized for an enriching experience.
