On June 18, 2024, Center for Research on International Cooperation in Educational Development (CRICED), in collaboration with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), held an orientation session for the online teacher e-training series (7,664 registration from 65 countries).
The four new courses are for computational thinking, IB, geography, and mathematical thinking, and aim to make a practical contribution to the international standardization of teacher education.
The courses are being developed in collaboration with researchers from various institutions (17 institutions from 10 countries), with researchers of University of Tsukuba playing a central role.
Each course will be progressively delivered over a four-month period from July 3 through the CRICED online platform.
Participants include teachers, teacher educators, and researchers.
