The Bureau of Global Initiatives of the University of Tsukuba invited high school students from Peru as part of JST Sakura Science Program and conducted a field trip to observe manufacturing in Kitakyushu. The trip provided opportunities to learn and think about the manufacturing method in the new era, visiting TOTO Museum and Neji Choco Laboratory that produces chocolates in shape of screws, symbol of Kitakyushu known for its steel products.
