The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan hosted a Turkmenistan Cultural Concert on Friday evening, June 14, at Nova Hall.
The concert, to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet Magtumguri, was well attended.

This concert is organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet Magtumguri.
About 25 singers and dancers from Turkmenistan will perform songs and dances.

University of Tsukuba (UT) and Université Grenoble-Alpes (UGA) in France, strategic partners in international collaboration, established a Strategic Committee in 2021 and have been meeting twice a year to expand and promote exchanges between the two universities across various fields.
The seventh meeting was held online on June 10, 2024. Prof. Jun IKEDA, Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Shinji KURODA, UT President of the Strategic Committee, and Prof. Etienne GHEERAERT, UGA President of the Strategic Committee, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the achievements and future plans for exchange and collaboration in each field were reported.
Additionally, Mr. Brice Duhamel, in charge of Student Mobility, shared the implementation status of student exchanges such as the Double Degree Program, exchange programs, and the Tsukuba Short-term Study Program.
Ms. Gillard from the Science and Technology Department of the French Embassy in Japan provided information on open calls for funding.
The next meeting is scheduled to be held around November.
