On December 9, 2025, H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary NOGUCHI Yasushi of the Embassy of Japan in Brazil visited University of Tsukuba and met with President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President for Global Affairs OHNEDA Osamu, and other university officials.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on future directions for collaboration, touching on academic exchange between Japan and Brazil as well as the University’s ongoing activities in Brazil. The discussion also referred to the University’s planned visit to Brazil in 2026, with expectations for further strengthening bilateral engagement.
This visit is expected to contribute to the continued development of cooperative relations between University of Tsukuba and Brazil.
