On March 16, 2023, the International Student Forum on “Inclusive Education System in Kazakhstan and Japan” was held under the auspices of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Attended by students from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), as well as students from the University of Tsukuba and Keio University who were studying abroad at KazNU during the winter language program, the purpose of the forum was to examine the systems of inclusive education in Kazakhstan and Japan and to get acquainted with the results of scientific research. During the discussion, the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the two countries’ educational systems were compared.
